Who needs matching socks anyway?

So, getting dressed at the gym this morning, I pull out my socks and discover that one has an argyle pattern and one has a striped pattern. At least they are both black on black, so I’m hoping no one will notice. But in the meantime, it makes me giggle.

  1. Ken said,

When he was 12 or so my brother used to zone out in front of the TV after school. My Mother, thinking she would put him to use, gave him a laundry basket full of socks to fold. So he put any two socks together and finished the job in no time. When my Mother complained to him he defended, “You said fold them. You didn’t say anything about them having to match?” He has not worn matching socks much since, out of principle.
